Postpartum Doula

Support

Investment: ($30-$45) an hour (extra for multiples)

The first few weeks after birth are major physical, emotional, and identity shifts. Postpartum care is self care, is baby care, is family care, is preventative care. Whether its your first or your fourth, you aren’t mean to do it alone. Together we will develop a daytime or nighttime support plan that best suits your needs.

Mother the mother

  • Breastfeeding and latch support

  • feeding schedule planning

  • Gentle sleep schedule planning

  • Help organizing home space for newborn and mom support

  • Birth and postpartum education

  • Plan for physical recuperation in postpartum

Infant care

  • Overnights to help you sleep

  • Care during the day while mom takes a nap, shower, etc

  • Care for older siblings as needed

Household care

  • Meal prep

  • Light household tasks like laundry, tidying, organizing things for postpartum

Resources/referrals

  • Referrals to community resources

  • Share birth and postpartum educational resources
