Hi I’m Morgan!
In 2019, I found myself navigating the world of high-risk pregnancy with the (unexpected) pregnancy of twins. This came with excitement as well as loss of autonomy and confusion with a medical system speaking the language of risk.
I was fortunate to have the support of a wonderful care team and a supportive birth doula who helped bring calm to the chaos. Then came the NICU and the height of COVID. I was tired, stretched thin, and pulled out into the riptide that is early postpartum.
In 2022, I got pregnant with my third and was called to a different experience. I sought support with a midwives group, learned all I could get my hands on related to birth and postpartum. I went on to have a powerful, redemptive, and unplanned, unassisted birth at home. Following this birth, I continued seeking new information and completed DONA birth and postpartum doula training in 2025.
I believe that birth and postpartum are initiatory experiences—thresholds deserving of reverence and care. My practice is guided by the belief that when we honor these transitions, we help women and families step into parenthood with confidence and self-trust. I believe in evidence based and informed care the power of developing parental intuition, and writing your own story. I am interested in blending holistic practices such as fitness, health, nutrition, emotional development to support the prenatal to postnatal to whole life.
Prior to becoming a doula, I spend years as a civil rights investigator in the public sector, with much of that work centered on women and survivors of domestic violence. I’m also an avid gardener, longtime yoga practitioner, and lover of nourishment in all its forms. I write poetry, prose, and many kinds of words—each an extension of the same curiosity and care that shape my doula work. I try to spend as much time outside with my kids.
